what the heck is the friend zone? what's a poppkern?

This world is a collection of digital Zones. There are so many Zones that you can find!
Each and every Zone is inhabited by population kernels, also known as Poppkerns!

Poppkerns come in all shapes and sizes, and their interests and likes are just as varied as yours and mine -- but Popps can travel between Zones, and we can't! Let's all make friends with lots of Popps so that we can help them adventure in the various other Zones!

The only Zone us Readers can access is this one: the Friend Zone, a central hubworld where lots of Popps congregate together to meet up, trading everything from stories to goodies.

Every once in a while, a Poppkern will grow just as curious about analog Earth as we are about the digital Zones!

Twilight Zone
Wide-open moors and dense, prickling forests expose Popps to all sorts of spooky dangers here. Bats flap, lightning strikes, and manic scientists battle myriad Draculae under the Twilight Zone's eternal moonlight...

Comfort Zone
Fluffy clouds? Check! Soft sunlight? Check! Cuddly creatures of all sorts, from dogs to dragons and beyond? Check and check! Take a well-earned rest in the pastel wonderland of the Comfort Zone today!

Danger Zone
Not for the faint of heart, this city is all blades and baddies. Neverending night shrouds stealthy sorts, and the horizon is studded with skyscrapers. In the Danger Zone, a Poppkern can earn an edgy backstory just as easily as they can earn their fighter pilots' license!

Exclusion Zone
All tourists are recommended to wear a mask or three if they head to this toxic, bone-strewn valley. Slime-kerns, mutated monsters, and beak-laden headgear glow amongst the pools of suspicious goop cultivated by the wyrd necromancers who call the Exclusion Zone home.
